We handle assault and battery, cruelty, spousal abuse, divorce, custody, visitation, alimony, child support and division of property.  This is more than fifty percent of our practice.  All Virginia support and division of property forms are software generated, and available via e-mail.  Flat fee pricing is available for some routine family matters such as uncontested (no-fault) divorce, property settlement agreements (separation agreements) and name change, by request. We handle Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.  We file Northern Virginia Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases electronically in Alexandria, VA.  This means we use a modem, and transmit the papers using Netscape ®, Bankruptcy 2000®, and Adobe Acrobat ® on the World Wide Web. General Legal Services

Occasionally, attorney time can be estimated at the start, as in a name change, writing a complaint letter, landlord evicting a tenant, or lease drafting.  We may quote a flat fee or cap.   Otherwise, we offer a sliding scale based on the novelty and difficulty of the assignment, and your financial situation.  We also consider payment plans, deferred payment or reduced retainer.  Sometimes, we may not charge at all.

 

Pre paid Legal Services (A type of insurance offered by certain employers.)

We are approved counsel in the pre paid legal plans of ARAG Group®,  Hyatt Legal Services® and several others.  E-mail us your name, employer, and social security number.  We will confirm your eligibility.
