What are the Most Frequent Client Errors in Completing Bankruptcy Schedules?

  • Failing to account for all the income-page income on the expense page.
  • Leaving out addresses, account numbers and / or year-account-opened for one or more creditors on a schedule (list) of creditors.
  • Failing to report the income for the past three years for each spouse, in response to the question at the beginning of the statement of financial affairs.
  • Failing to list cash on hand, bank balances, and every stick of furniture separately, as of the date of filing, with garage sale values.
